How it works
Our inspection process
A used hot tub is only a deal if it actually works. Here's everything that happens before a tub earns a spot on this site.
- 1
Intake & history check
When a tub comes to us, we start with the story: age, brand, how it was used, and why it's being sold. Tubs with cracked shells or rotten frames don't make the cut — they get parted out, not resold.
- 2
Drain, strip & deep clean
We drain the tub completely, pull the panels, and clean everything — shell, plumbing lines, jets, and filter housings — so we can see exactly what we're working with.
- 3
Structural & shell inspection
We check the shell for cracks and blisters, the cabinet and frame for rot, and the base for damage. Cosmetic wear is fine and priced accordingly; structural problems are a dealbreaker.
- 4
Equipment testing
Pumps, heater, control board, topside panel, ozone system, and lights all get tested individually. Anything weak or worn out gets repaired or replaced with proper parts — not patched to survive a demo.
- 5
Fill & wet test
Then comes the real test: we fill the tub and run it the way you would. Heat to temperature, every jet on, every mode cycled. We watch for leaks, pressure drops, and error codes over a sustained run — not a five-minute splash test.
- 6
Final detail & listing
Once a tub passes, it gets a final clean and polish, honest photos, and an honest description — including its age, condition, and any cosmetic flaws. What you see on the listing is what arrives at your house.
Then we stand behind it.
Every tub that passes inspection is backed by our 90-day parts & labour warranty. If we missed something, fixing it is on us — not you.
Questions about a specific tub?
Ask us what was repaired or replaced on any listing — we keep notes on every tub and we'll tell you straight.
